This trip is for all adventurous anglers out there looking to push boundaries and explore new frontiers. Fish remote and pristine waters of PNG that very few people have ever seen, let alone fished. On this expedition you'll spend your days exploring & fishing around Eastern Fields, and area infamous for huge dogtooth tuna, GTs, and pelagics including wahoo, mahi mahi, sailfish and marlin. The Sportfishing vessels on K20 are the perfect platform, designed to get you right on top of the steep cliff walls of this huge extinct underwater volcano for some serious vertical jigging for big dogtooth tuna, and are also ideal for casting poppers to big GTs that patrol the washes and reef edges. This is the ultimate, discovery-fuelled fishing adventure in Papua New Guinea.

The Eastern Fields is the remnant of a massive ancient volcano - now a just-submerged coral atoll, rising from thousands of metres deep to as close as a metre below the surface, and comprises an area of around 350 square nautical miles of barely touched reef. It rises from the bottom of the Moresby Valley about 90nm WSW of Port Moresby. The reefs are incredibly remote, and as untouched and close to perfect as you can find anywhere in the world. This remoteness, combined with the sheer size of the ecosystem is what makes Eastern Fields one of the most exciting recreational fisheries currently accessible anywhere in the world. In the words of those who've fished here, "every fish is oversize", from Dogtooth and Yellowfin Tuna to GT's, Sailfish, Marlin, Mackerel, Wahoo, Coral Trout, Cod, and so much more.

This is a unique journey into the pristine reef system -Eastern Fields, a place with prehistoric size fish swarming on every reef. This is a complete sensory overload simply not found anywhere else on earth. You will be totally immersed in a truly wild, challenging and unexplored bluewater destination; one of the most biodiverse reef systems in the Coral Sea. Dont miss this opportunity for awe-inspiring fishing at Eastern Fields while still indulging in the luxury and comfort of the mothership after a long day. Air-conditioned rooms, hot-water showers, freshly brewed coffee and not to forget icy cold beer!
