Mission Beach is a pretty coastal town situated 140 kms south of Cairns on the shores of the Coral Sea, surrounded by World Heritage rainforest on one side and the World Heritage listed Great Barrier Reef on the other.
It’s the latter that makes it such an exciting fishing destination. There’s a huge range of pelagic and reef species to target and methods to target them.
Our guides are the best in the area and have a myriad of marks that are proven producers. The boats comfortably fish up to 5 anglers and all equipment is top shelf.
A typical day starts at 7.30am and runs through to 4pm.
Accommodation is one of the many excellent Airbnb houses at Mission Beach and which one we choose for you depends on the size of your group.
This is a self-catered option but you’ll have some of the best table fish available to prepare of an evening. There is an array of eateries scattered throughout town if eating out is your preference.
We can organise transfers for you from Cairns to Mission Beach and back with the other option being get a hire car at the airport giving you more flexibility to explore the area when you’re not out fishing. Drive time is about 90 minutes.
