Destinations | Solomon Islands

Our destination at the Solomon Islands provides a variety of fishing options which are all close to each other. There’s big mangrove jack in the rivers, Spanish mackerel, giant and bluefin trevally around the inshore reefs and yellowfin tuna, billfish, wahoo and mahi mahi in the deep blue. It’s feasible to cover all options in the one day. The resort has a private beach and jetty which provide good fishing in the right conditions. The accommodation is airy fan cooled waterfront villas with amazing views over the lagoon, which are a short walk from the main lounge and dining area. The staff are helpful and have that easy going persona that is typical of the islands of the South Pacific. We’d suggest taking your own fishing equipment and allow the great local guides to put you on to the fish.

Solomon Islands

The fishing is totally diverse. You can be jigging deep sea mounts, casting poppers or trolling around the outer reefs and flicking lures in the estuary and lagoon. Customers regularly catch marlin, sailfish, mahi mahi, giant trevally, wahoo, spanish mackerel, coral trout, red sea bass and plenty more.
